A Photographic Study of the Architecture and Landscape of the University of California, Irvine
I am a professor of neurobiology and biophysics at UCI, and an avid landscape and wildlife photographer. In normal times I travel the world in search of exotic photographic subjects in wild and beutiful places, but following the onset of the covid-19 pandemic in March 2020 I have been isolating at home in University Hills on the UCI campus. Seeking a new subject within walking distance of home, I set myself a project to make an extensive photographic study of the buildings, landscape, plants and animals of the campus.
