TEMPERATURE:
~130 degrees Fahrenheit

DISTANCE: 135 miles
ROUTE: Begins at Badwater, Death Valley (282' below sea level) and
ends at Mt. Portals, Mt. Whitney (8000' above sea level).

TIME LIMIT: 60 hours, but those who make it under 48 hours will receive a 'Badwater belt buckle'.

The 2005 Badwater Ultramarathon race will be Ian Parker's fourth consecutive year and Judit Pallos's first year competing. In Badwater 2004, Judit Pallos was Ian Parker's pacer extordinaire, but this year she will attempt the race for herself.

Ian Parker will be running Badwater Ultramarathon 2005 to raise money for the Barbara K. Burgess memorial fund. If you are interested and would like to make a contribution, please click here.
