When I am taking photos I almost always capture numerous shots of the same subject, with variations in composition, lighting and exposure, and then select only the best one (or two, if I can't decide) for final display. However, I have recently been working with an interior designer, who pointed out that she is often looking for a set of photographs with a common theme, which match one another in tonality and color balance. Thus, I was prompted to go back to my archive and start putting together a collection of 'triptychs' : triplet selections of photographs that individually stand by themselves, but are captured and processed to form a complementary group.
Please let me know (evanescantlightphotography@gmail.com) if you may be interested in using any of these, or if there are other individual photographs that you think may form the basis for a new tryptich. |
