1) November 2005, Dr Grace (Beth) Stutzmann presents at the Society for Neuroscience, Washington DC.
"Effects of age and PS1 mutations on ER Ca2+ disregulation in normal and Alzheimer's diesase brains"

6) Angelo Demuro will present at the ACS National Meeting in Boston.

On August 22, 2007 lab member Angelo Demuro will present his paper "Optical-patch clamping: A new approach for imaging single ion channel activity" at the ACS National Meeting in Boston, MA, as part of the session Biological Ion Channels: From molecular Structure to Cellular Function. 5) Ian Smith will present at the 2007 Young Investigators Forum at UCSD in September 2007.

On September 28, 2007 lab member Ian Smith will attend the American Heart Association Young Investigator's Forum in San Diego, CA

Ian Smith will present the abstract titled Disruption of local and global calcium signaling as a pthagenic mechanism in familial hemiplegic migraine<link, pdf > . Other authors include Shaochun Ma, Ian Parker, and Jay Gargus.

 

4) Lab members will attend 14th Congress of Calcium Binding Proteins and Calcium in Health and Disease

In October of 2007 lab members Ian Smith, Steve Wiltgen and Michiko Yamasaki will attend the 14th Congress of Calcium Binding Proteins and Function in Health and Disease in La Palma, Spain.

Ian Smith and Steve Wiltgen will present the abstract titled Buffer Kinetics Shape the Spatiotemporal Patterns of IP3 Evoked Calcium Signals in Human Neuroblastoma Cells. <link, pdf >
